Students are reading (a lot) more ebooks & audiobooks

With schedules full of classes, homework, extracurriculars, studying and sports, students balance a myriad of activities for both body and mind. It can be hard to find quiet time to sit down and read. Despite their busy schedules, though, students continue to read more digital books.

Technology is an essential part of modern learning and leveraging the devices students already use to provide anytime, anywhere access to books digitally is proving to be a vital way to keep them connected to literature and reading. Much of the continued increase in K-12 digital reading can be attributed to the hard work of curriculum directors, teachers and librarians to make sure their digital collections are discoverable, diverse and engaging.
